Manufactured Home Inspections
Manufactured and mobile homes are built differently than regular homes. That’s why a general home inspector is not always the right choice. INSPX is specially trained and certified to inspect manufactured homes across the Coachella Valley — foundation, tie-downs, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Why It’s Different
Manufactured and mobile homes are built to federal HUD standards, not the same standards as site-built homes. They sit on piers and tie-downs instead of a traditional foundation, and many of their most important systems are underneath the home.
Problems like loose or missing tie-downs, damaged skirting, settling piers, and moisture or plumbing leaks under the home can be missed by an inspector without this specific training. INSPX is specially trained and certified to inspect manufactured homes, so you know the home is safe, stable, and sound before you buy.
We check the same major systems as a regular home inspection — roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water heater, windows, doors, and interior — plus the areas that are unique to manufactured homes.
That means extra attention to the foundation and support piers, tie-downs and anchoring, skirting and ventilation, moisture or pests underneath the home, and any additions or changes made after the home was originally set up. You get a clear report with photos, whether the home is in a mobile home community or on a private lot anywhere in the Coachella Valley.
